Baluku Tera Gideon was born and raised in Kilembe near our Vocational College in Kasese. After having attended the local secondary school in Kilembe, he studied Development Studies in Mbarara at Bishop Stuart University and finished it with the Bachelor Degree in 2011.
Since 2017 he has been part of our Team as the Academic Registrar and Development worker so he is focusing on sustainable development of both the college and also, especially as a local, the community. Apart from college work, he is also doing other services in different community related places. Tera is motivated to further and promote the college and he feels certain to be at the right place.
Besides college, he likes to play football and was called “Ronaldo” by his friends because of his style of play. To be as much informed as possible he reads the newspaper and listens to the local radio talk. In addition to that he has a real liking for languages and is interested in improving his French.
Tera takes care of the internal atmosphere in the college to ensure every problem is handled professionally and thoughtfully and so the students can learn from him how to work together and interact within the group.
